
World of Outlaws: Big Game Motorsports Claims Historic Championship Trophy
David Gravel and Big Game Motorsports secured their first World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car championship in 2024, marking only the 11th different champion in the series' 46-year history.

Racing team celebrates championship victory
The championship run included impressive statistics:

- Over 300 Feature laps led
- 33 podium finishes
- 60 top-10 finishes
- 4.88 average finish
The championship team consists of:
Tod Quiring (Team Owner):
- Started as a local sponsor
- Formed Big Game Motorsports in 2008
- First Outlaws win as owner came at Orange County Fair Speedway
- Built successful partnerships with various drivers before joining forces with Gravel in 2021
David Gravel (Driver):
- Started racing quarter midgets at age six
- First Outlaws win came in 2011 at Talladega Short Track
- Successful stints with Roth Motorsports, CJB Motorsports, and Jason Johnson Racing
- Joined Big Game Motorsports in 2021
- Achievements include Kings Royal crown and over $1 million in earnings
Cody Jacobs (Crew Chief):
- Son of Sprint Car legend Dean Jacobs
- First Outlaws win as crew chief came in 2012
- Joined Big Game in 2020
- Partnership with Gravel began in 2021
Stephen Hamm-Reilly (Car Chief):
- Started in Pennsylvania racing
- Worked with major teams including CJB Motorsports and Roth Motorsports
- Joined Big Game for championship season
Zach Patterson (Tire Specialist):
- Started in Modified racing at Abilene Speedway
- Entered Sprint Cars in 2020
- Joined World of Outlaws tour with TwoC Racing in 2021
- Moved to Big Game and achieved championship success
The team has announced plans to defend their title in 2025, beginning at the Federated Auto Parts DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park, February 5-8.
