Pascal Wehrlein remains cautious about Porsche's competitive advantage in Formula E, despite the team's impressive start to the season.

TAG Heuer Porsche currently leads the teams' championship with double the points of NEOM McLaren. The team has secured two poles through Wehrlein and two second-place finishes from Antonio Felix da Costa. However, Wehrlein understands Formula E's highly competitive nature requires consistent performance.

"I think there are a couple of good guys here and good teams, and definitely we have a super-strong package," Wehrlein stated. "Every weekend we just have to deliver." He specifically noted Oli Rowland's strong performance in Sao Paulo and acknowledged that Mexico traditionally suits Porsche's strengths.

The defending champion expects more teams and drivers to be in championship contention this season, contrasting with last year's final weekend battle between Jaguar and Porsche.

Following a major crash in the season opener that required a complete car rebuild, Wehrlein maintains a positive outlook. He praised his team's mechanical work, expressing relief that the rebuilt car feels normal and competitive.

"I've forgotten it already," Wehrlein said about the crash. "I don't mind crashing. I don't mind if it hurts for a couple of days — I'm always looking forward to the comeback." He used the Christmas break to recover from the two-week discomfort following the incident.
