United Autosports tops Bronze session at Daytona Roar finale

United Autosports claimed the top spot in the final Bronze-only test session of the 2025 Roar Before The Rolex 24 at Daytona International Speedway. Daniel Goldburg set the fastest time of 1m40.613s in the No. 22 ORECA on a drying track surface.

The session featured 20 cars across LMP2, GTD Pro, and GTD categories. George Kurtz placed second in the No. 04 Crowdstrike ORECA, followed by Nick Boulle in the No. 2 United ORECA. Jon Field completed the LMP2 top four for Inter Europol.

In GTD, Anthony McIntosh led with the No. 19 Van der Steur Racing Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo (1m48.459s), while Kenny Habul's No. 75 Express GTD Pro Mercedes secured second place.

Notable achievements from the three-day test:

  • GTP: Dries Vanthoor set the overall fastest time (1m35.424s) in the No. 24 BMW Team RLL M Hybrid V8
  • LMP2: Malthe Jakobsen topped the class (1m38.673s) for Crowdstrike Racing by APR
  • GTD Pro: Pfaff Motorsports' Lamborghini Huracan led with Andrea Caldarelli (1m47.626s)
  • GTD: Forte's No. 78 Lamborghini Huracan, driven by Franck Perera, set the pace (1m48.036s)

The IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship resumes Thursday with the Rolex 24's first free practice at 10:05 a.m. local time, followed by qualifying later that day.
