Cottingham returns for a second season following an impressive 2024 campaign that included four top-five Hyperpole results and three fourth-place finishes at Spa, Sao Paulo, and CoTA. The 41-year-old Briton aims to build on this foundation and secure podium finishes in 2025.
Silver-rated French driver Sebastien Baud joins the team from TF Sport's Corvette program, replacing Nicolas Costa. Baud's 2024 achievements include winning the Goodyear Wingfoot award at Imola and securing a podium finish in the season finale at Bahrain.
The No. 59 lineup will be completed by Gregoire Saucy, while Darren Leung, Sean Gelael, and Marino Sato will compete in the sister No. 95 car.
United Autosports CEO Richard Dean expressed confidence in the team's 2025 prospects, highlighting the strong driver combination and the team's proven competitiveness in the LMGT3 category. The team aims to convert their consistent top-five performances into podium finishes in the upcoming season.
Both Cottingham and Baud have expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, with Cottingham citing the team's growing momentum and Baud emphasizing his readiness to compete at the highest level of motorsport with such an experienced organization.
