
UK Gets First Look at Tesla's Cybercab: Autonomous EV Makes Public Debut in London
Tesla's new Cybercab is making its UK debut at London's Westfield Shopping Centre in Shepherd's Bush until December 8, offering the public their first close-up look at this autonomous electric vehicle.
The fully autonomous car features a distinctive teardrop shape with Cybertruck-inspired styling, including a front light bar and gullwing doors. Most notably, the interior lacks any manual controls, featuring only a large central screen for entertainment and video calls.

The Cybercab will operate similarly to ride-hailing services, allowing users to order rides through a smartphone app. Unlike traditional robotaxis, individuals can purchase their own Cybercab and generate income by renting it out when not in use.

Tesla has also unveiled the Robovan, a larger autonomous vehicle capable of carrying up to 20 passengers or cargo. This windscreen-less vehicle features triple light bars and an interior with facing seats.

The technology will also be available to existing Tesla Model 3 and Model Y owners through an over-the-air update, enabling them to participate in the autonomous ride-sharing network starting next year.
