The Thunder on the Thruway Series returns to Fonda Speedway and Utica-Rome Speedway in 2025, continuing its rich racing tradition that began in 2008.

The 2025 schedule features six races split between both venues:
- Fonda Speedway: May 3, June 21, August 9
- Utica-Rome Speedway: April 25, June 27, August 1

The series, originally launched as the Go-Green NMX Series in 2008, became the Dual Track Thunder Series in 2009 before adopting its current name in 2010. It continues to showcase the region's top racing talent across multiple divisions, maintaining its status as a premier racing series in New York State.
Find Fonda Speedway off New York State Thruway Exit 28 at 21 S. Bridge Street, Fonda, NY 12068. The track operates weekly on Saturday nights from April through August, plus special events.
