In his rookie season, Easum achieved a significant milestone by winning at Red Dirt Raceway in Meeker, OK, during the second race of the season. Starting from seventh position, he captured the lead by lap 13 and secured the victory on the quarter-mile track.

Following his early success, Easum faced challenges that limited him to only two more top-10 finishes, ultimately placing 10th in the final standings. To address these issues, he has made significant improvements for the upcoming season:
- Switched to Don Ott Racing Engines to resolve qualifying performance issues
- Recruited veteran crew chief Jimmy Jones, who brings experience from three World of Outlaws championships with Steve Kinser
- Set new goals focused on achieving consistent top-5 and top-10 finishes
Easum's 2025 season will begin on Saturday, April 12, at Salina Highbanks Speedway in Salina, OK. The race will be available for streaming on DIRTVision.
"We just want to be better, and the only way you're going to get better is racing guys like that," Easum said, emphasizing his commitment to improvement in his sophomore season.
