
Super DIRTcar Series and STSS to Race at New Egypt Speedway in 2025
New Egypt Speedway will host two major Northeast Modified racing events in 2025, featuring both the Super DIRTcar Series (SDS) and Short Track Super Series (STSS).

The season kicks off with the 'Power in the Pines' on Saturday, March 29, where the Super DIRTcar Series will compete in a 75-lap main event offering $7,500 to win. This race serves as both New Egypt Speedway's season opener and the SDS points opener. A practice session will be held the night before on Friday, March 28.
In the 2024 edition, Anthony Perrego from Walden, N.Y., claimed victory after a late-race pass on Darren Smith, with Peter Britten finishing third.

Two sprint cars crash on track
The STSS returns to New Egypt for its eighth appearance on Tuesday, June 17, featuring a 50-lap main event with a $5,000 prize to the winner. The 'Dirty Jersey' event is part of the STSS South Region and will include STSS Crate 602 Sportsman division racing.
In the previous event, Bouc defeated Stewart Friesen and Alex Yankowski to secure his second career series victory.
Both events will take place at New Egypt Speedway, located at 720 Route 539 New Egypt, NJ 08533.
