Stellar Pit Stop Launches Heim to NASCAR Truck Victory at Las Vegas

Corey Heim secured victory in Friday night's Ecosave 200 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, thanks to exceptional pit crew performance that overcame his earlier pit road speeding penalty.

A crucial pit stop under caution on lap 86 put Heim's No. 11 TRICON Garage Toyota in the lead. He took command for good on Lap 101 after the final restart, leading a race-high 42 of 134 laps before beating Grant Enfinger to the finish line by 0.825 seconds.

The race, run in unusually cold conditions, was twice interrupted by rain showers, with red-flag periods lasting 55 minutes, 51 seconds and 19 minutes, 42 seconds respectively. Despite the challenging weather, Heim maintained control to secure his second win of the season and 13th career victory.

Tanner Gray finished third, followed by reigning series champion Ty Majeski in fourth and Layne Riggs in fifth. The event set records with 21 lead changes among 12 drivers, showcasing intense competition throughout the field.
