
Spring Mountain Championship Battle Heats Up As Finale Draws Near
The Spring Mountain Race Series' 2024-2025 season entered its crucial second half on the challenging 3.23-mile Charleston Peak Full Course, with both veteran and rookie drivers delivering spectacular performances.
In the Radical Cup Challenge, technical difficulties marked the first race, though quick work by Spring Mountain Racing's crew ensured most competitors returned for day two. Nancy Bullock showed remarkable determination by purchasing a new Radical to continue racing, ultimately securing a Silver Class podium finish.
Gold Class competition intensified with Nick Groat, Josh Esfahani, and Erik Davis bringing excitement to the track. Steven Thomas claimed third place and set a new class track record, while Doug Ramirez's consistent performance strengthened his championship prospects. Tanner Harvey secured his first overall victory after successful car adjustments.

Brian Reynolds emerged victorious in Silver Class by a single point, while Jim Mason recovered from an early setback to claim second overall. In the Rookie Class, Jason Horwitz dominated with pole positions and fastest laps, while returning racer Sohaib Kureshi secured second place.

The Sports Car Series saw intense competition across its 19-car grid. In GTU, Michael Reynolds claimed victory over Brian Reynolds, with Jeff Fraser securing second place. The Reynolds are now separated by just three points in the championship standings.
