
Spalding Claims First Career Gator Championship, Dominates UMP Modified Finale at Volusia
Curt Spalding achieved a career milestone at the 54th Federated Auto Parts DIRTcar Nationals, winning both the Gator Championship and the overall points title for 2025 at Volusia Speedway Park.

Starting from fourth position, Spalding strategically worked his way through the field, eventually overtaking early leader David Stremme using the bottom line in Turns 1 and 2. Once in front, Spalding maintained his lead throughout the remainder of the 30-lap Feature, building a commanding 1.5-second advantage by the checkered flag.
Will Krup finished second after an impressive late-race charge, passing both Kenny Wallace and Kyle Strickler. Cole Falloway showcased remarkable driving skill, advancing from 19th to secure third place. Kyle Strickler and Kenny Wallace rounded out the top five.
