The Belmont's Garage No. 14 has been one of dirt racing's most successful cars, collecting 55 wins and 25 championships over the past five seasons with drivers Joe Toth and Payton Talbot.
Simmons and car owner Andy Belmont have previously worked together, with Belmont expressing satisfaction with Simmons' performance. The decision to bring Simmons aboard was a family choice, supported by Belmont's sons Andrew, Brett, and Kyle.
For 2025, Simmons will run a part-time schedule in the No. 14, competing in the Short Track Super Series (STSS) South Region and select special events. He will continue racing his family-owned Elegant Exteriors No. 20 at New Egypt Speedway on Saturday nights.
"I appreciate Andy and his family giving me the opportunity to drive such an iconic car," said Simmons. "Andy has been a successful team owner on the NASCAR level and in the dirt racing world. All the success he's had over the years with multiple drivers shows his commitment to success."
The new partnership between Simmons and Belmont's Garage will debut at Port Royal (Pa.) Speedway during the 'Speed Showcase' STSS event on March 15-16.
