
Big Diamond Speedway's Thaw Brawl Returns to Open 53rd Season on April 4
The 53rd season of racing at Big Diamond Speedway kicks off with the Thaw Brawl on Friday, April 4, 2025, at 7:15 pm. The 3/8-mile dirt track near Pottsville, PA, will host multiple racing divisions for an action-packed opening night.

Main Event Details:
- Quandel Concrete 358 Modifieds: 25-lap feature, $4053 prize
- USS Achey Inc. 602 Crate Sportsman Modifieds: 20-lap main, $1053 prize
- Red White and Blue Autos Inc. Roadrunners: 20 laps, $453 prize
- Big Creek Concrete 602 Crate Sportsman: 15-lap feature
Last Year's Winners:
- Ryan Watt won the Modified division, his 11th career Big Diamond victory
- Chuck Fayash claimed the Roadrunner championship
- Makenize Smith secured her first dirt Modified victory
- Colin Cox achieved his first Modified win in the 602 Crate Sportsman division
Event Schedule:
- Pit gates open: 5:00 pm
- Grandstands open: 5:30 pm
- Hot laps begin: 7:15 pm followed by heats
- Heat starting positions determined by random draw
Admission:
- Pit admission: $35 (members), $45 (non-members)
- Adult general admission: $20
- Kids 16 and under: Free
