After a challenging 2024 season with only one victory and a seventh-place finish in standings, the team's new lineup, including crew chief Kyle Pruitt, has already demonstrated significant improvement. Schuchart secured two podium finishes in the opening races, including a second-place result in the final Feature.

The partnership between Schuchart and Pruitt has proven effective early on. Pruitt's addition allows Schuchart to focus more on driving while sharing setup responsibilities. Their collaborative approach and thorough off-season preparation, including work with engine builder Michael Newman and time at Tim Engler's facility, has yielded immediate results.

The team's success at Volusia includes their first Quick Time in over a year and a half, demonstrating improved qualifying performance. The Shark Racing team will return to Volusia Speedway Park on March 2-3 for the Bike Week Jamboree before tackling eight more races across five states.

While cautiously optimistic about translating their Volusia success to other tracks, both Schuchart and Pruitt remain focused on maintaining their momentum throughout the 2025 season. Their strategy includes specific preparations for upcoming short track races, with the team committed to putting Schuchart in position to compete at the front of the pack consistently.

The 42-time World of Outlaws Feature winner enters his 12th season with renewed confidence and a strengthened team structure, aiming for championship contention in 2025.
