Top Fuel saw Shawn Reed triumph with a 3.699s run at 330.39mph against Josh Hart's 3.724s at 321.27mph. Troy Coughlin Jr. claimed the Pro Stock victory over Cory Reed.
Reed's performance marked the quickest Top Fuel run of the day, achieved during optimal racing conditions as temperatures cooled. The victory was particularly meaningful for Reed, who credited Red Line Oil, Matco Tools, and All American Automotive for their support.
A significant highlight was the return of 16-time champion John Force to the racing environment. Though still recovering from a traumatic brain injury sustained at Richmond last June, Force's presence boosted team morale. "Being here in Bradenton was just good for my heart," Force remarked, expressing excitement about returning to the racing community and supporting his teams and partners.
The NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series season opener is scheduled for March 7-9 at Gainesville.
