Racing Legends Holdeman, Johncock Among 2025 USAC Hall of Fame Inductees

USAC announces seven new inductees into its Hall of Fame for 2025, expanding the prestigious group during its 12th induction class. The ceremony will take place on July 2, 2025, at USAC headquarters in Speedway, Indiana, during the BC39 festivities.

The 2025 inductees include:

Jack Bowsher - A dominant figure in USAC Stock Car racing with 21 wins as a driver and 38 victories as a car owner. He achieved three consecutive ARCA championships (1963-1965) and consistently finished as runner-up in USAC points from 1968-1970.

Dave Darland - One of eight USAC Triple Crown champions, holding the record for most USAC National Sprint Car victories (62). He accumulated 115 total USAC wins and captured four national titles across Silver Crown (1997), Sprint (1999), and Midget (2001-2002) divisions.

Bob Estes - A USAC founding father who served as national car owner representative from 1955-1960. His teams won multiple championships, including the inaugural USAC Midwest Sprint Car title in 1956 with Pat O'Connor.

Bob Hampshire - A legendary car owner and crew chief who orchestrated dominant eras with drivers Jack Hewitt and Kody Swanson. His achievements include 14 USAC Silver Crown owner wins and multiple series championships.

Roger & Linda Holdeman - Transformed Winchester Speedway after purchasing it in 1970, hosting 123 USAC races and implementing major facility improvements. Named USAC's Race Organizers of the Year in 1990.

Tommy Hunt - Served as USAC Vice President and west coast operations head for 28 years (1986-2013), overseeing multiple divisions and introducing new series. Recipient of the 2024 Dick Jordan Award of Excellence.

Gordon Johncock - Two-time Indianapolis 500 winner (1973, 1982) with 20 USAC National Championship victories. Won the 1976 series championship and demonstrated versatility across multiple racing disciplines.

The USAC Hall of Fame has inducted notable members annually since 2012, except for 2020 and 2021, creating a prestigious roster of racing's most influential figures.
