Neel Jani led the sixth IMSA Roar Before the 24 session in wet conditions, piloting the No. 5 Proton Competition Porsche 963 to a fastest lap of 1m45.433s. The session started late due to severe weather conditions at the track.

JDC-Miller's No. 85 Porsche 963 finished second, with Gianmaria Bruni setting a 1m45.879s in limited running. The No. 31 Whelen Cadillac secured third place with Jack Aitken's 1m46.240s lap, despite experiencing a right-rear puncture with Felipe Drugovich at the wheel.

In LMP2, United Autosports USA dominated with Paul Di Resta's No. 22 ORECA posting the only sub-1m50s time (1m49.870s). TDS Racing's No. 11 and United's No. 2 completed the top three.

GTD class saw Inception Racing's No. 70 Ferrari lead with Ollie Millroy's 1m57.033s lap, followed by Forte's Lamborghini. The No. 3 Corvette was the fastest GTD Pro entry, finishing sixth overall in the combined GTD ranking.

Multiple red flags interrupted the session, including incidents involving the No. 5 Proton Porsche spinning at pit-in and the No. 22 United ORECA at Turn 1. Heavy rain ultimately ended the session 3.5 minutes early.

"Turn 1 is particularly challenging in wet conditions, especially crossing the rubbered line where it becomes very slippery," noted Jani, emphasizing the session's value for potential wet qualifying next week.
