
Porsche Cayenne EV Prototype Sighted During Testing: Electric Flagship SUV Due in 2025
Porsche's upcoming all-electric Cayenne SUV has been spotted during development testing, positioned to compete with the BMW iX and Mercedes EQE SUV. This new EV will complement the existing petrol-powered Cayenne lineup, sharing architecture with the Macan EV while featuring several upgrades.

Design and Styling The electric Cayenne maintains familiar styling cues from its combustion counterpart, featuring rectangular headlights similar to the Macan EV and a streamlined front bumper for improved aerodynamics. Both traditional SUV and coupe body styles will be available, with the coupe version showcasing a sporty sloping roofline and a distinctive full-width light bar across the tailgate.

Technical Specifications Built on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture, shared with the Macan EV and Audi Q6 e-tron, the Cayenne EV is expected to feature:
- A battery pack larger than the Macan's 100kWh unit

- Power output up to 800hp in top-tier variants, surpassing the Macan Turbo's 639hp
