Andrea Caldarelli and Marco Mapelli, both Lamborghini Squadra Corse drivers, will compete for the full season in GTD. James Hinchcliffe joins as the Michelin Endurance Cup driver, while Jordan Pepper rounds out the No.9 Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2 team for the Rolex 24 At Daytona.
Caldarelli and Mapelli have a successful history together, achieving the 'SRO Triple Crown' in 2019 by winning GT World Challenge Europe Sprint, Endurance, and overall titles in the same year. Caldarelli, fresh from the Lamborghini Iron Lynx SC63 program in 2024, has already shown promise by posting the fastest GTD PRO time during the Roar Before The 24 tests, with Mapelli securing the third-fastest time overall.
"I am very excited to be part of this program," says Caldarelli. "Though it's the first year for Pfaff Motorsports with Lamborghini, we'll work to be competitive quickly. Sharing the car with Marco for the full season is amazing, and having Jordan and James join us for the endurance races strengthens our team considerably."
Mapelli expressed enthusiasm about joining Pfaff Motorsports, noting their reputation and dedication. Meanwhile, Hinchcliffe, who also serves as part of FOX Sports' IndyCar broadcasting team, brings valuable experience from his previous stints with Pfaff's McLaren 720S GT3 at Daytona, Sebring, and Petit Le Mans.
The team aims to leverage their combined experience and new Lamborghini partnership to compete at the highest level in the 2025 IMSA season, with a clear focus on achieving victory from the season's start.
