Nick Hoffman Enjoys Family Time During Offseason While Preparing for Volusia Return
Nick Hoffman is enjoying the 2024 offseason while preparing for the World of Outlaws Late Models season. He recently built a UMP Modified for his father, Darrell Hoffman, to race at The Dome at America's Center – the same car Kenny Wallace will use at the Federated Auto Parts DIRTcar Nationals in February.

The car featured a nostalgic design inspired by Darrell's original 1990s Modified, creating a special moment for the Hoffman family. Darrell praised it as the best car he'd ever driven, highlighting the collaborative effort between his children Nick and Ashly in bringing this project to life.
Kenny Wallace, who scored eight Feature wins in 2024, will take over the same chassis for the Volusia Speedway Park event. Wallace returned to Victory Lane at DIRTcar Nationals in February 2024 for the first time since 2012 but missed out on the Big Gator trophy due to an engine failure in the finale.

Before the late model season begins, Hoffman will compete in the Chili Bowl Nationals in January, piloting a NOS Energy Drink Midget at the Tulsa Expo Center. This follows his impressive progression in World of Outlaws competition, where he finished fifth as Rookie of the Year in 2023 and third in points during his sophomore season.

For 2024, Hoffman has consolidated his operations under one roof, combining his Modified and Late Model programs to enhance efficiency and preparation. He'll start his season at the DIRTcar Sunshine Nationals (January 22-25), while Wallace begins his Big Gator championship pursuit at the Federated Auto Parts DIRTcar Nationals (January 30-February 8).
