New 76 Sponsorship Brings Number Change for Conor Daly
Conor Daly's IndyCar entry underwent a significant number change from 78 to 76 at the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, signaling a new sponsorship deal with 76 (formerly Union 76 gas stations). The car now features distinctive orange and blue branding matching the iconic 76 logo.

This development comes after the unsuccessful multi-million-dollar Polkadot sponsorship deal. The timing couldn't be better, as Daly and Juncos Hollinger Racing showed promising performance by placing 13th on the speed chart.
Despite having an entirely new driver lineup and race engineering team compared to 2024, the team demonstrated strong potential. Daly noted improved handling at St. Petersburg compared to previous years, though he remained measured about their progress.
Full details about the new sponsorship program will be revealed before the upcoming race at Thermal, where the partnership will be officially announced to the public.
