A groundbreaking two-day workshop, "Electrify Your Career in Motorsports," will take place during the IMSA race weekend at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca from May 9-11, 2025. This collaborative initiative between Women in Motorsports North America (WIMNA) and Bosch aims to connect women with STEM-focused career opportunities in motorsports.

The program, now in its third year, welcomes all college and university students and will be hosted at three major racetracks throughout 2025. Laguna Seca's selection as the first venue is particularly significant, as its CEO Lauri Eberhart serves as a founding board member of WIMNA and recently established a Monterey Chapter.

Participants will benefit from:

  • Networking sessions with industry professionals
  • Classroom discussions
  • Behind-the-scenes tours of paddocks and garages
  • Access to manufacturer areas
  • Direct interaction with motorsports professionals

The program will continue at:

  • VIRginia International Raceway (August 22-25, IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge)
  • Circuit of The Americas (September 5-7, Lone Star Le Mans FIA WEC weekend)

This initiative aligns with IMSA's commitment to STEM education and technological advancement in motorsports. As Cindy Sisson, Executive Director of WIMNA, notes, the program aims to "empower and educate the next generation of women in motorsports." Bosch's continued support as a technology leader has been crucial in expanding the program's reach and impact.

Interested students can register through WIMNA's website for any of the three workshop locations.
