The schedule change addresses multiple concerns from fans and personnel, including:

  • Late night work hours for paddock staff
  • Cold temperatures for spectators in November
  • 1:00 AM start time for East Coast viewers

The earlier start time is now possible due to improved logistics in managing the Las Vegas Strip Circuit. This change aligns Las Vegas with other F1 night races:

  • Las Vegas: 20:00 (new)
  • Singapore: 20:00
  • Saudi Arabia: 20:00
  • Qatar: 19:00
  • Bahrain: 18:00
  • Abu Dhabi: 17:00

The announcement comes as part of F1 and FIA's publication of all session times for the calendar. Most races maintain their standard 15:00 local start times, except for:

  • Miami Grand Prix: 16:00
  • Other Americas races (Montreal, Austin, Mexico City, Sao Paulo): 14:00
  • Japanese Grand Prix: 14:00
