The race was marked by nine caution flags and multiple dramatic incidents, including:

  • Berry spinning both Ty Gibbs and Justin Haley
  • A collision between Berry and Erik Jones while battling for the lead
  • Ricky Stenhouse Jr. spinning local favorite Burt Myers
  • Gibbs going airborne after attempting to retaliate against Haley under caution

Ryan Blaney, using Team Penske's provisional as the highest-ranked 2024 driver not yet qualified, withdrew after 23 laps due to mechanical issues.

The complete Cook Out Clash starting lineup features 23 drivers, with Chase Elliott on pole, followed by Chris Buescher and Denny Hamlin in the top three positions. Kyle Larson and Josh Berry will start from positions 21 and 22 respectively, with Ryan Blaney rounding out the field.

Notable drivers who failed to qualify include Austin Dillon, John Hunter Nemechek, Michael McDowell, and AJ Allmendinger.

The Cook Out Clash is scheduled to begin after 8 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on Fox.
