Landon Brooks Outduels Crouch for Chili Bowl Night 2 Victory

Landon Brooks secured a surprising victory on Night 2 of the 39th annual Chili Bowl Nationals powered by NOS Energy Drink at Tulsa Expo Raceway. Brooks became the 54th driver to win a preliminary night A-Feature and gave Matt Wood Racing their first win inside the SageNet Center.

Starting seventh, Brooks strategically worked his way through the field, initially jumping to fourth before falling back mid-race. He adapted his racing line and mounted a late-race charge, ultimately taking the lead from Brenham Crouch in the final laps to win by 0.504 seconds.

Crouch finished second, while Buddy Kofoid completed a remarkable run from 18th to third place after winning the Ferguson Supply B-Feature. Corbin Rueschenberg and Gunnar Setser rounded out the top five.

The event drew 74 drivers, bringing the total competing entries to 140. Racing continues on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, with York Plumbing Qualifying Night starting at 4:00 P.M. (CT).
