Daniel Hilsabeck is making his return to the World of Outlaws Late Models in 2025, following a setback in 2024 when a wrist injury at Brownstown Speedway interrupted his rookie season plans.

After surgery and two months of recovery, Hilsabeck made a strong comeback in late 2023, securing four top 10 finishes with MLRA and placing sixth at the Late Model Knoxville Nationals.

Looking ahead to 2025, Hilsabeck feels more confident about his racing program: "I feel like we've got some stuff figured out with our race car... what we need to be doing to race at a national level."

The season will begin at Volusia Speedway Park with:

  • DIRTcar Sunshine Nationals (January 22-25)
  • Federated Auto Parts DIRTcar Nationals (February 13-15)

Hilsabeck acknowledges the unique challenges of Florida's tracks, particularly Volusia's distinct dirt composition: "The dirt threw me for a loop last year... The dirt is definitely different down in Florida, but that's something that you've got to experience before you know what to do."

New venues on his radar include Smoky Mountain Speedway, while he's particularly excited about returning to familiar tracks like Humboldt and 81 Speedway in Kansas. The North Dakota circuit will be another new challenge for the Iowa native as he pursues the 2025 Rookie of the Year Award.
