
Kyle Cummins Captures Thrilling Late-Race Victory at Ocala Speedway
Kyle Cummins executed a dramatic last-lap pass to win the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship race at Ocala Speedway, becoming the first multi-time winner of the 2025 season.

Starting from fifth position, Cummins stalked race leader C.J. Leary for 29 laps before making his decisive move on a green-white-checker restart. His winning pass on the outside of Leary earned him the Inferno Armor Fire Move of the Night award.
The victory marks Cummins' 22nd career USAC National Sprint Car win, tying him for 31st all-time with Rick Hood, Bubby Jones, and Sammy Sessions. He becomes the first driver to win Winter Dirt Games main events at both Ocala and Volusia Speedway Park.
Daison Pursley finished second, securing his fifth consecutive podium finish of the season. Leary settled for third after leading 29 of the 31 laps, followed by Justin Grant in fourth and Brady Bacon in fifth.
Cummins now leads the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship points standings with 385 points, followed closely by Pursley with 379 and Grant with 364. The series continues tomorrow night at Ocala Speedway for another round of Winter Dirt Games XVI action.
