
Britten Claims Second DIRTcar Nationals Win in Epic Battle with Payne
Peter Britten claimed his second DIRTcar Nationals victory at Volusia Speedway Park, ending a three-year drought. The Australian driver outdueled Alex Payne in a thrilling 30-lap feature race to secure his fourth career Super DIRTcar Series win.

Britten took the lead on Lap 3 and maintained control for the remaining 28 laps, despite several challenges from Payne. The most intense battle came on Lap 20 when Payne briefly took the lead, but Britten's crossover move in Turn 2 secured his position at the front.

The race saw two cautions on Lap 10 - first for Justin Stone's broken driveshaft and then for Matt Sheppard's flat tire. Britten's superior momentum on restarts helped maintain his advantage throughout the race.
