Kaiser Permanente Expands Electric Vehicle Charging Network Nationwide
Kaiser Permanente is expanding its environmental initiatives by installing electric vehicle charging stations across its nationwide network of medical facilities.
The rollout began at the Vacaville Medical Center in California with three charging stations. Over the next six months, five additional California locations will receive charging stations:
- San Francisco Medical Center
- Roseville Medical Center
- San Rafael Medical Center
- Garfield Specialty Center (San Diego)
- Administrative offices in Pasadena
The healthcare organization plans to install charging stations at 50 more locations within two years, with a minimum of three stations per site. This expansion is part of Kaiser Permanente's broader strategy to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and promote sustainable transportation options.
This infrastructure development will help support the growing adoption of electric vehicles while demonstrating Kaiser Permanente's commitment to environmental sustainability and reducing their carbon footprint.
