Jonathan Davenport clinched his second consecutive Wieland Winter Nationals victory at Ocala Speedway, securing a $10,000 prize after leading all 40 laps. The three-time Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series National Champion narrowly held off Brandon Overton, who mounted a strong challenge in the closing laps but finished 0.538 seconds behind.

Kyle Bronson took third place, followed by Brandon Sheppard and Devin Moran completing the top five. This marked Davenport's 85th career Lucas Oil victory and his fifth win at Ocala's egg-shaped track - the most of any late model driver during Speedweeks.

"He (Overton) made me more worried than I should have been," Davenport said in Victory Lane. "I didn't know he was coming like that at the very end. The track was slimy around the bottom, which limited our movement options."

Overton, making his return to the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series in 2025, expressed satisfaction with his performance despite missing out on the win: "I felt like I was doing everything I could. We're really close to winning one."

The winner's Double L Motorsports Longhorn Chassis, powered by a Clements Racing Engine, is sponsored by Nutrien Ag Solutions, Dyna-Gro Seed, ASC Warranty, Mark Martin Automotive, and Mega Plumbing of the Carolinas.
