This achievement marks significant growth since IMSA began streaming WeatherTech SportsCar Championship races on YouTube in 2024. Starting with the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, which garnered 505,000 total live views and 21,000 peak concurrent viewers, the channel has shown consistent growth.

Key viewing statistics for the 2025 Rolex 24:

  • 20,000 viewers waiting before race start
  • 72,000 peak concurrent viewers
  • Over 1,000,000 live views by end of Saturday
  • Exceeded 2,000,000 live views by Sunday morning

The IMSA YouTube channel has experienced remarkable growth over the past 12 months:

  • Subscriber count nearly tripled
  • Approaching 730,000 subscribers
  • "Win the Weekend" docuseries contributed over 15 million views

The livestream is available internationally on YouTube, while domestic viewers can watch through NBC and Peacock as part of an extended partnership. According to IMSA President John Doonan, the stream is accessible for free in most countries, including France, Germany, UK, Asia, and Australia, though it remains geo-blocked in the United States and select other regions.

The success of this digital initiative, combined with the upcoming third season of "Win the Weekend" Presented by Michelin, demonstrates IMSA's expanding global reach and growing digital presence in motorsport entertainment.
