The UK-based Chevron B19, driven by John Emberson and Nigel Greensall, leads Group A after dominating the first two segments. Making their North American debut, the Foxcraft Racing team secured an overall Group A/B win in segment two following a P2 finish in the opening round.
In Group B, Kenneth McKinnon and Larry Ligas's Predator Racing 1972 Porsche 911 RSR holds a commanding lead of more than a lap, while also topping the combined Group A/B standings by nearly a minute.
Group C sees Bob Neapole and Guy Cosmo's RBN Motorsports 2020 Acura ARX-05 leading by 90 seconds, following their first Historic Prototype victory in Thursday's B.R.M. Endurance Challenge. They're pursued by Pierce Marshall and Eric Foss in their Cadillac DPi, who are aiming for a historic sweep of all three Mission Foods HSR Classic races this season.
The Jordan Racing Team, featuring Mike and Andrew Jordan, leads Group D in their 2011 Porsche 997.2 GT3 Cup, though only by 11 seconds in a tight battle where the top six cars are separated by just 90 seconds.
The final round of racing begins Sunday at 12pm, with winners receiving custom-made B.R.M. Chronographes Wall Clocks. The event's vintage aircraft display will conclude with departures at 11:10am Sunday morning.
