The 39-year-old Sunnyvale, TX native will drive his familiar No. 15H Triple X Chassis, powered by Fischer Racing Engines, marking his eighth consecutive season with the Ontario-based team. The season kicks off January 30-February 1 at Volusia Speedway Park during the 54th Federated Auto Parts DIRTcar Nationals.
Currently tied with Jason Johnson for most National Tour titles (five), Hafertepe is also just one win away from matching Johnson's 79 career victories. Two more wins would place him second all-time behind Gary Wright's 127 victories.
Despite winning 12 Feature races in 2024, Hafertepe finished second in points to Seth Bergman, largely due to inconsistent results including nine finishes of 13th or worse. For 2025, the team is fully committed to the ASCS National Tour with improved preparation and focus on consistency.
"This year, we are committed, and we've found what fits the race team and me personally," said Hafertepe, the 2016–2020 National Tour champion. "Our preparation for this year will be so much better than we had last year. When you're not fully committed to something initially, there's a lot of things that are undone and a lot of things that aren't the right direction. We've buttoned up all those things."
Hafertepe expresses optimism about ASCS's new direction under World Racing Group, stating his full support as long as the series continues growing and improving. With a clearer focus and renewed commitment, Hafertepe and Hill's Racing are positioned to make history in the 2025 season.
