Gio Scelzi Holds Off Gravel for First World of Outlaws Win of 2025 at Kennedale

Gio Scelzi captured his first World of Outlaws victory of 2025 at Kennedale Speedway Park, successfully defending against persistent pressure from David Gravel throughout the 25-lap main event. The win marks Scelzi's 10th career victory with the World of Outlaws, making him the 51st driver to reach double-digit wins.

Starting from the pole position, Scelzi maintained his lead despite Gravel's repeated challenges in the middle lane. The victory adds to KCP Racing's total of twelve World of Outlaws wins and represents Scelzi's second consecutive year winning in Texas.

David Gravel finished second, continuing his impressive 2025 campaign with seven straight podium finishes. He now leads the championship standings by 58 points. Carson Macedo secured third place in the Jason Johnson Racing No. 41, while Sheldon Haudenschild and Bill Balog rounded out the top five.
