Lewis Reclaims Lead to Secure Second USAC-CRA Sprint Car Victory

Ricky Lewis clinched his second victory of the 2025 USAC CRA Sprint Car season at Imperial Valley Raceway in a dramatic non-stop feature race. Lewis regained the lead from Braden Chiaramonte on lap 26 after initially losing it on lap 23 while navigating through heavy traffic.

Driving the #41 Coyote Candle Company/Mesilla Valley Transportation DRC, Lewis secured the win ahead of Chiaramonte, while current points leader Jake Swanson finished third. Logan Calderwood and Cody Williams completed the top five.

Notable performances included:

  • Cody Williams set the fast time in qualifying (12.257 seconds)
  • Heat race winners: R.J. Johnson, A.J. Bender, Tye Mihocko, and Brody Wake
  • Blake Bower won the semi-main and earned the Hard Charger award, advancing from 22nd to 9th
