Smith brings an impressive racing resume to FRM, including:

  • 2022 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Championship
  • Six truck series victories with FRM (2022-2023)
  • Notable Cup Series achievements:
    • Runner-up at Nashville Superspeedway (2024)
    • Fifth place at Watkins Glen International (2024)
    • Five top-10 and 17 top-20 finishes in 45 career Cup races

Ryan Bergenty will continue as Smith's crew chief, building on their successful collaboration from 2023. The 25-year-old California native expressed excitement about rejoining FRM, where he previously won the Truck Series championship in 2022.

"I've always felt at home with Front Row Motorsports," Smith said. "Front Row has really taken their Cup program to another level, and I cannot think of a better lineup of teammates. Todd and Noah are great friends of mine, and we all have a lot to prove as young drivers in the Cup Series."

Team owner Bob Jenkins emphasized the organization's confidence in Smith's ability to compete at the highest level: "He brought us our first championship, and we believe that he can win in the NASCAR Cup Series, too. We have always believed in his talents, and we will work hard to give him what he needs to be successful."

The move completes Front Row Motorsports' driver lineup for the 2025 Cup Series season, positioning the team for continued growth and success in NASCAR's premier division.
