
Friesen Dominates All-Tech Sunshine Swing Opener With Commanding Win
Stewart Friesen dominated the 2025 season opener at All-Tech Raceway, winning the 30-lap Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Modified event and claiming a $4,000 prize.

Despite drawing the pole position, Friesen briefly lost the lead to Alex Payne at the start. He regained control by lap four and dominated the remainder of the race, lapping up to 15th place during the final green-flag run. The victory marked Friesen's sixth Florida win with the series.

Alex Payne finished second, followed by Tanner Van Doren in third, Alex Yankowski in fourth, and Chris Curtis in fifth. Matt Sheppard made an impressive run from 21st to finish seventh.
In the Sportsman Division, Richard Murtaugh III led all 25 laps from the pole position to secure a $1,500 victory. Brian Calabrese, Payton Talbot, Chris Jakubiak, and Logan Watt completed the top five.

Racing continues with STSS Modifieds competing in a 35-lap feature paying $5,000 to win, alongside a 25-lap STSS Sportsman event offering $1,500 to the winner.
