France clinched victory in the Race of Champions Nations Cup at Sydney's Accor Stadium, defeating Team Australia Supercars in a thrilling tiebreaker. This marks France's first Nations Cup win since 2004.

The final came down to three intense races. Brown initially defeated nine-time World Rally champion Sebastien Loeb in the Polaris RZRs. Victor Martins then outpaced Brodie Kostecki in the FC2 rallycross car by 1.1 seconds. The decisive race saw Martins edge past Brown by just 0.2 seconds in SuperCar Lites after a last-corner mistake by Brown.

France's path to victory included defeating Team New Zealand in the quarter-finals and overcoming Team All-Stars' Chaz Mostert and Johan Kristoffersson in the semifinals. Team Australia Supercars reached the final after dominating their group and defeating both Team USA and Germany's formidable duo of Sebastian Vettel and Mick Schumacher.

Loeb, a four-time individual Race of Champions winner, praised his teammate Martins, who will compete in his third Formula 2 campaign this season: "He was competing in his first Race of Champions and he was not expected to be fighting at the front. I think he impressed everyone."
