During the Jeddah E-Prix, drivers were required to make 34-second stops (30 seconds of charging plus 4 seconds stationary time) when their battery charge reached between 60-40 percent. This innovation transformed the race dynamics, moving away from the typical energy-saving pack racing characteristic of the GEN3 era.
