Ferrari team principal Fred Vasseur expresses complete confidence in Lewis Hamilton's abilities ahead of his 2025 move to the Scuderia, despite the seven-time world champion's recent performance dip.

When questioned about Hamilton's struggles, particularly in Brazil and Qatar, Vasseur pointed to the driver's impressive performance in Las Vegas, where he advanced from P10 to challenge George Russell. "Not at all worried," Vasseur stated firmly. "Look at his 50 laps in Vegas."
Meanwhile, Ferrari remains focused on their immediate battle with McLaren for the constructors' championship. Vasseur notes they continue to outscore McLaren and emphasizes their strategy of maintaining focus on their own performance rather than their competitors'.
"We were able to achieve one-two finishes during the season," Vasseur explains. "The most important thing is to concentrate on ourselves, our car, and our strategy, rather than getting distracted by what McLaren or Red Bull are doing."
With Charles Leclerc closing in on Lando Norris in the drivers' standings and the team still in contention for the constructors' title, Ferrari's approach appears to be yielding results. While Vasseur acknowledges he'd prefer a 20-point lead to their current deficit, he remains optimistic about their prospects for the upcoming race, which he believes should favor their car's characteristics.
