A full tank for a family car now costs:

  • Petrol: £76.81 (up £3 from October)
  • Diesel: £80.56 (up £4 from October)

The price increase is attributed to oil reaching $82 per barrel in mid-January, driven by increased cold weather demand and US leadership transition concerns. However, recent oil price drops suggest fuel costs should decrease soon.
