Two-time GTD champion Farnbacher replaces Loris Spinelli, who partnered with Goikhberg for the past two seasons, achieving fifth-place finishes in the points standings. While Goikhberg and Farnbacher have been teammates before, this marks their first collaboration as co-drivers.
Following his initial test with the team, Farnbacher expressed enthusiasm about the new opportunity: "It's my first day in the new job and it was nice to get into this new environment. We made good progress and are getting to know each other as a new team. I think we have a strong package for the season ahead."
In a related development, NASCAR driver Parker Kligerman will join the team for the Daytona race through a partnership with Big Machine Racing. The team's third driver for the Michelin Endurance Cup races remains unannounced.
Forte Racing's recent success includes four podiums in the past two seasons, including a victory at Motul Petit Le Mans in 2023. Program Manager Michael Harvey aims to build on these achievements: "We are very committed to taking the next step as we fight for a championship. Mario's experience will be invaluable, and we're extremely fortunate to add Parker to our Rolex effort."
The team will debut its new driver lineup at the Roar Before the 24 on January 17-19, followed by the 63rd Rolex 24 at Daytona.
