EVgo and Toyota have opened their first co-branded fast charging stations in California, marking a significant step in expanding public EV charging infrastructure. The stations, located in Baldwin Park and Sacramento, are part of Toyota's "Empact" initiative.

Each location features cutting-edge 350kW DC fast chargers capable of serving up to eight vehicles simultaneously. This high-power charging technology significantly reduces charging times compared to standard chargers.

The partnership focuses on three key objectives:

  • Expanding public EV charging accessibility
  • Supporting underserved communities
  • Advancing sustainable transportation solutions

These stations represent the first phase of a broader collaboration between EVgo and Toyota, demonstrating their commitment to accelerating EV adoption across the United States.
