"Myself, Multimatic and Ford Performance all have a goal to go and win that championship next year," Evans stated. The team will focus exclusively on the GT4 European Series in 2025, with the season opener scheduled for April 12-13 at Circuit Paul Ricard in France.
Academy Motorsport team boss Matt Nicoll-Jones emphasized their progress with the new Mustang: "We made huge progress with the setup and operation to the point we were fighting for outright wins by the end of the year."

For 2025, the team has implemented several upgrades to the car, developed through testing with Evans and Signoretti. As part of the Ford Performance Development Program, Evans has his sights set on becoming a manufacturer factory driver and competing in prestigious events like the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Daytona, and Spa.
The GT4 European Series is widely regarded as the most challenging GT4 championship globally, making it a prime target for both drivers and manufacturers. With six rounds scheduled for 2025, Evans and the team are confident in their ability to compete for the championship with their improved package and accumulated experience.
"Ford is stoked. All they want to do is win. They want to win as bad as the drivers do," Evans remarked, highlighting the manufacturer's commitment to the program and its success in European GT racing.
