Evans Leads Rally Sweden by Just 3 Seconds Ahead of Sunday's Final Showdown

Evans maintained a slim lead throughout Saturday's stages, briefly extending it to 8.6 seconds before a stall in the day's final stage reduced his advantage. Katsuta, still seeking his first WRC victory, remains cautious about his approach to Sunday's final three stages.
Neuville made significant progress, climbing from fifth to third and sitting just 6.3 seconds behind Evans. The reigning WRC champion overtook teammate Ott Tanak, who struggled with coolant issues.
Adrien Fourmaux's podium hopes ended after getting stuck in a snow bank, while Kalle Rovanpera moved up to fifth position. Martins Sesks leads the M-Sport Ford effort in sixth place, despite a late spin.
In WRC2, Oliver Solberg extended his lead to 39.0 seconds over Roope Korhonen, winning four of Saturday's stages.
Sunday's finale features three stages totaling 42.74 competitive miles, with the top positions still very much in contention.
