After joining ASD Motorsports in May of last year to pilot the No.74X Barry Wright Race Cars machine, Dotson quickly found success with four Feature wins and four top-10 finishes in World of Outlaws events at major venues including Volusia Speedway Park and The Dirt Track at Charlotte.

Coming from a successful background in DIRTcar UMP Modifieds, where he claimed prestigious victories like the 2022 World Short Track Championship and three Federated Auto Parts DIRTcar Nationals Golden Gator trophies in 2023, Dotson sees his Modified experience as beneficial for the transition to Late Models.

"Outside of the differences of the tires, and aero specific to Modified bodies, they're not too far off," Dotson explains. "Racing them consistently is the biggest thing for me to keep improving."

Taking a measured approach to the 57-race season, Dotson is focusing on one race at a time rather than getting ahead of himself. His primary goal is achieving consistent front-running performances while remaining open to potential race wins along the way.

Dotson's rookie campaign kicks off at Volusia Speedway Park during DIRTcar Sunshine Nationals, January 22-25. The entire 2025 season will be available to watch live on DIRTVision.
