Eli Tomac, the veteran Monster Energy Yamaha Star racer, prepares for his final supercross season with determination and optimism. At 31, he's ready to compete in his 15th racing season, starting at Angel Stadium this Saturday.
"I'm really happy on how long I've made it," reflects Tomac. "I didn't see myself doing it past 30 years old. You've got to do what you love doing. If I'm competitive, then I was going to keep going."

Having won his first AMA Pro Racing event in 2010, Tomac maintains his competitive spirit. His 2024 season was challenging due to injury recovery, which he now understands took longer than expected. "Once I was a full year down the road from that injury, it was like, 'Oh wow, that last couple of percent really matters,'" he explains.

Entering his fourth season with Star Yamaha, Tomac believes he can contend for a third supercross title. He acknowledges defending champion Jett Lawrence as the primary competitor to beat, while remaining confident in his own abilities and team support.
As he approaches his final professional supercross season, Tomac promises an all-out effort: "I'm going to leave it all on the track and enjoy every moment along the way."
With Star Yamaha's backing and his renewed health, Tomac aims to conclude his impressive career on a high note, bringing his passion and experience to each race of the 2025 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship.
