At Volusia Speedway Park's DIRTcar Sunshine Nationals, Troutman demonstrated early promise with sixth and 15th-place finishes. Despite initial struggles during the Federated Auto Parts DIRTcar Nationals, he dramatically improved in the finale, securing pole position and leading most of the 50-lap main event before finishing second to Jonathan Davenport.
The Hyndman, PA native has been actively preparing for upcoming challenges, gaining valuable experience at tracks like Swainsboro Raceway and Senoia Raceway. His sixth-place finish at Swainsboro, despite a minor setback with an infield tractor tire, showed his competitive potential.
Troutman's focus now turns to the Tennessee Tipoff at Smoky Mountain Speedway, where he aims to improve upon his previous performances. His methodical approach to building track knowledge and experience positions him well for future success in the World of Outlaws Late Models series.
Looking ahead, Troutman plans to compete at Boothill Speedway's Bayou Classic and various other high-profile events throughout the season, continuing to build his reputation in the national dirt late model racing scene. His partnership with Team22 Motorsports appears to be developing into a strong, long-term relationship that could yield significant results in the coming years.
