Edwards made significant strides in 2024, earning USAC Avanti Windows & Doors Western States Midget Rookie of the Year. He secured two victories at California's Santa Maria Speedway and The Dirt Track at Kevin Harvick's Kern Raceway, finishing just 11 points short of the series title with Petty Performance Racing.

His 2024 USAC National Midget appearances showed promise, particularly at Ohio's Eldora Speedway during the 4-Crown Nationals where he finished ninth. Edwards' participation in Indiana Midget Week proved valuable, leading to his first win at Santa Maria immediately after.

Coming from a racing family, Edwards started in quarter midgets at age five, competing until he was 12. After a brief hiatus, he returned to racing in 2019, winning championships in both Class A and Outlaw divisions at Central Arizona Raceway.

The partnership with CB Industries emerged after Edwards and his car owner, Jerry Petty, sought additional expertise to improve consistency. Edwards will maintain his role maintaining Petty Performance Racing's midgets and sprint cars while pursuing his driving career.

His 2025 USAC NOS Energy Drink Midget National Championship campaign begins with the Kokomo Grand Prix at Indiana's Kokomo Speedway on April 25-26, where he'll continue his partnership with Avanti under the CB Industries banner.
