
Dietz Charges from 5th to Win Lincoln Ice Breaker Over Dietrich
Sprint car ace Chase Dietz claimed victory at Lincoln Speedway's Ice Breaker season opener, outdueling Danny Dietrich in a thrilling 30-lap feature race at Abbottstown, PA.

Despite falling to fifth from his pole position start, Dietz showcased remarkable recovery in his debut with Stehman Motorsports. Gerard McIntyre led the opening eight laps before Dietrich took command on lap nine as the leaders encountered lapped traffic.

Dietz methodically worked his way forward, passing McIntyre for second on lap 16. The battle for the lead intensified as both drivers worked the high line, with Dietz finally making the winning pass on lap 23. A late caution with three laps remaining couldn't derail Dietz's charge, as he held off Dietrich's final challenge to win by 1.115 seconds.
